1. Coral Reef Aquarium. This Xcaret attraction is a fascinating journey in the coral reefs of the Mexican Caribbean. Kids will be able to admire closely more than 1200 tropical fishes, 300 hard corals, 200 soft corals, 115 sponges, seahorses, morays and more. There is an interactive area where they will be able to touch sea cucumbers and starfish; they will love to do that!

2. Marine Turtles. One of the top Xcaret attractions not to miss. Xcaret Park´s Sea Turtle farm/center is a wonderful site where thousands of sea turtles native of the beaches of Riviera Maya, are protected until they grow full size (over 1 year) and later released into the wild. Children will be able to admire the different stages of growth of the Green turtle and Loggerhead Turtle species, and touch teeny baby turtles.   

3. Butterfly Pavilion. Imagine your kids walking freely in a lush tropical garden with natural waterfalls where butterflies fly free around them? This is one of the best Xcaret activities for a fun photo session where many exotic butterflies make the most bizarre flying stops such as your kid´s head, nose, hand and shoulders. At Xcaret Park´s Butterfly Pavilion they can learn about the complete life cycle of butterflies.

4. Inlet & Beach. These are two beautiful places for families with small children. At Xcaret Beach, parents will be able to relax while their children swim in the tranquil knee-deep turquoise waters of the bay. There are lounge chairs and shade, and kids can have fun with inner tubes for floating. At Xcaret´s Inlet, families can guide their children through the corals to see an amazing array of fishes and sea creatures with snorkel gear.    

5. Aviary/ Regional Wildlife Breeding Farm. Tropical Birds, native birds and precious feathered creatures! At Xcaret´s Aviary also known as the Regional Wildlife Breeding Farm kids will have the time of their life observing 44 species of loud and curious birds from the region such as the Scarlet Macaw, Green Parrot, Keel-billed Toucan and the Pichichi Duck.
